Here are some advantages that we get from meditation:-


1. Reduces stress:- One of the most common reason people do meditation is to reduce stress.
According to the study mental and physical stress causes to increase in cortison level which is stress hormone. It increases risk to have high blood pressure, disrupt sleep, anxiety and many more problem. But in one of the study it was shown that mindfulness meditation helps to reduce such inflation of stress in body.

2. Reduces anxiety:- Automatically when our stress decreases our anxiety level also decreases. According to the study doing meditation regularly for short period of tome helps us to reduce anxiety level by decreasing panic attacks, social anxiety, phobias and many more.

3. Emotional health promotion :-  Some of the meditation changes the way we look the world and have positive thoughts in our mind. In one short research a group of meditators feel free from long term depression due to involvement in mindfulness meditation. So that it helped them to have positive look towards their life and improved  vision and goal of their life.

Some help us to have more concentration on single task at a time whereas some help us to be conscious. Thus it keeps us in charge every time with position vibes and leads us to do positive deeds.

7.  Improves sleep:- Mindfulness meditation helps us to sleep earlier. In a study two groups were compared one group who didn't involve in meditation and another group who involved in meditation. Thus it was found that the people who meditate get asleep faster than the people who do not.
 
8. Decrease in blood pressure:- As meditation helps us to reduce all those anxiety, stress and pain of our life it directly cause in decrease in rate of blood pressure. Research has shown that mantra meditation is more effective in reducing high blood pressure. Basically mantra like om is widely used among meditators.
