Meditation tips for beginners

Top 10 ways to improve meditation for beginners are as follows:-

1. Start to meditate early in the morning:- According to the Ayurveda morning time is the best time to meditate as it is also called the creator’s hours. The creator’s hours is known as Brahma muhurta.  Brahma muhurta generally refers to the period of 1 hour 36 minutes after sunrise. At this time nature is at its purest form. So that I suggest you perform your meditation or yoga at this time.  In the modern age, there may be lots of disturbance so that we should have meditation in the morning because the mind is inherently still at that time, enabling one to achieve a deeper meditative state and also enable a person to stay fit all the day.

2. Selection of the place:- It is one of the most important factors that manipulate meditation as the place matters a lot. You should find a peaceful place for meditation to enhance your focusing power. And also to remain away from the noise that distracts you. If you are the beginners you might face the problem of focusing but as time passes out you could have better focus, moreover, I suggest beginner start their meditation from about 3 to 5 minutes so that as you become more familiar with it you can increase the time to more than half an hour.

3. Cross-legged:- It is more important for you to find a comfortable position to do meditation. If you start from lotus position at first you would find it uncomfortable. So that I suggest you stay in either half-lotus position or in your comfortable position. But if it is possible for you to sit in the lotus position then it’s great. Also, keep in mind that your backbone should be straight. At first, you can take the the the the support of the wall but gradually you have to take in on your own.

4. Breath naturally:-  As breathing is the natural process, it plays an important role in meditation. Meditation involves the process of inhalation an't exhalation for a longer period but lets it happen in a general way. You can play an important role an observer and feeling the sensation that inhales and exhale from the body during the meditation.

5. Pray:- Praying is another way to have a focus on the mind. There are lots of ways to focus on. Some people prefer peace only whereas others want some sort of sound that please their mind and enhance their focusing capacity. Whereas as some like to chant mantras like “OM” etc. There are many more mantras for us to use. Praying meditation is not just a way to focus. It is also a way to feel relief from all pains and anxiety. If you don’t want any disturbance then it’s ok to meditate without mantras.

6. Counting method:- Counting method is more closely connected with the breathing method. Moreover, we can say that it is part of the breathing method. In which we are breathing naturally and focusing on the air that goes inside our body. It is very much harder for the beginner to meditate  so that they can start by counting method. Firstly you could sit to the right poster then while breathing. You should count 1 for your first inhale and count 2 while releasing your breath up to five in your mind slowly. You should do it for your practice form 4 to 6 min at starting.

7. Stay still:- At the time of meditation just try to stay still as much as you can, as it can be the factor of the distraction for you. For the beginners it may be harder but as we know “PRACTICE MAKES MAN PERFECT”. Do not lose your hope and get started. I assure you that you will achieve success. At the meantime, you will be the master of your mind.

8. Execution:- Collection of the information of the poses, the position is not enough but the most important thing is execution. In this modern world, you can collect information via the different web but the main authority lies within you. You are the one to execute it in your daily life. Most of us only execute for more than 1 to 2 days and then stop it out due to our laziness.

9. Acknowledge your emotion:- After meditating for a few days you can see some changes in your life some are good whereas some are bad. We began to feel more happy, confident than ever before. You could see that you have lessened the fear of your mind. You could involve yourself in public speaking. To enhance your communication skill but before attaining that you have to face difficult obstacles during the time of meditation. For eg: Backbone pain, lack of focusing power, mental disturbance etc.

10. Online tutorial:- The most important thing that I have experienced is that you should do some free and high-level online course. So you would not have to waste your money as well as your time. You can take over some high professional course so that you can have access to it throughout your life. You can also do diploma courses available in udemy as well as another platform from high level professional.
